Description

Safely shut down computer systems and guard connected equipment against surges with the Back-UPS 650VA Battery Backup & Surge Protector from APC. The UPS is armed with a total of seven NEMA 5-15R outlets, with five providing surge and backup power and two designed for surge protection only. In the event of a power outage, it comes equipped with an internal battery that delivers up to 360W of power. The battery-powered outlets provide up to 2.5 minutes of use at full load and 51 minutes at 50W.

For electrical spikes, the UPS has a 490J surge energy rating. There’s also a USB port that delivers up to 1.5A of power for charging smartphones, MP3 players, and other battery-powered devices. Included along with the backup UPS are a USB cable and a downloadable Power Chute software program to monitor energy usage and prevent data corruption by automatically saving files and shutting down a computer system.
